I recently got a shout out in the While You Were Out newsletter, which features pictureless comics (alongside with Edith of Drawing Links, whose newsletter features picturefull comics). The shout out had this line in it:

I’m not that into people talking about doing drugs. But I’m really into people who do drugs talking.

Below you’ll find two such people—me and my friend, science writer John Horgan—talking about the nature of ideas and ourselves.
