You now can start your own threads on Psychopolitica's Substack Chat
When Substack launched its new Chat feature (available on mobile, Android and iOS both), I was excited. It’s like a group text that lives right here on Substack—I don’t need to convince my US subscribers to install Telegram, and they don’t need to convince me to start using WhatsApp. And nobody needs to install Discord.
I started posting there now and again, and you and I have had some nice exchanges. Most notably for me, I invited subscribers to play some chess, and quickly lost one to Michael Bubb. (Btw, I’m “nikita-psypol” on Chess.com—feel free to challenge me to a game, I am prepared to lose many more.)
There was one problem: subscribers couldn’t start their own threads—they had to respond to prompts from me—and I’ve always wanted a space where you all could talk to each other directly. From the email exchanges and Zoom calls that I’ve had with you, I know there are some incredible people here, and I’d love for them to meet one another.
Well, this is fixed now.
Psychopolitica is one…
