I’ve got a few submissions for the “novel” project I described here last month. I’m not quite sure what to do with them because I don’t yet know what format the project will assume.
The image I have in mind is that of a magazine: a long interview is broken into parts (“cont. page 30”), an analytical piece argues we don’t need to know whether aliens are real to form political alliances with them, there are ads for retro-futuristic psychedelic tech, a few excerpts from The Psychopolitical Handbook, perhaps a news section, some letters from the readers.
I’m also intrigued by the idea of turning it into a movie: an animated documentary, perhaps; or a series of DYI Youtube videos.
I’ll experiment until I know what I’m doing.
Each submission left me with a better understanding of the world we’re starting to explore. I’m starting to collect things here.
